Credit for Your Core²

Our remanufacturing program is based on an exchange system where you return a used component — called a “core” — for a Cat Reman product. You get credit for your core based on its condition, which helps lower your costs. To determine your credit, we use simple, visual tests that don’t require special tools or disassembly.

The Cat Reman products available to You

The Cat Reman product line includes medium-duty and heavy-duty engines, medium-duty and heavy-duty long blocks, air compressors, camshaft kits, cylinder heads, injectors, oil coolers, oil pumps, turbochargers and water pumps.

With a wide selection of Cat Reman products, it’s easy to keep your Cat on-highway truck engine running like new at a price you can afford. Plus, we’ll give you core credit when you return an engine, long block or other components. In most cases, your core qualifies for full credit²:

• If it has an acceptable part number (Caterpillar or, in certain instances, another brand)
• If it’s fully assembled and complete
