4 Decades on the Road , 3+ Decades with Cat® Engines
Mike LeBlanc got his start as a truck driver in 1978 and has logged more than five million miles on the road over the past four decades. His favorite part of the job? He says it’s “the people and hauling lumber from the mills” all across British Columbia. He’s relied on Cat on-highway engines since 1986 and counts on an authorized Cat dealer for his parts and service needs. “They provide a great service, have all the tooling, have genuine parts and are always very accommodating.”
Up Early, on Time and Always Paying Attention
Mike’s worked for Arrow Transportation Systems for more than 30 years, and his employer is impressed by his dedication and loyalty. According to Arrow, Mike reports for work at 2:00 a.m. and completes his route by 4:00 a.m., five days a week. He’s always on time, a trait the mills he serves love about him, and he makes safety a priority — winning a safe driver award in British Columbia in the early 2000s. “Pay attention and always look for other drivers” is Mike’s motto.
Celebrating 3+ Million Miles with Mike
On February 13, 2020, Cat dealer Finning Canada and Western Star dealer RJames Management Group hosted a celebratory lunch for Mike and his wife Kathy — complete with gifts and a specially decorated cake commemorating the more than three million miles Mike’s put on his Cat C15 truck engine. Congratulations, Mike, for hitting this big milestone and thanks for your loyalty to Cat on-highway engines!
