Million Miler Prompt Towing Service
Meet the VP of Prompt Towing Service, with three Cat® C15 engines that have each gone beyond a million miles.

Prompt Towing Service is a Million Miler three times over. When they first joined the Million Miler Club, though, they had mixed feelings. As Vice President, Dominick Almeida put it: “Honestly, I thought, ‘Great, now I’m going to need a new engine!’” That hasn’t been the case, however — their three C15-powered Peterbilts just keep on trucking.
Prompt Towing Service serves the Charlotte County, Florida area, “pretty much hauling anything.” That includes transporting a piece of the World Trade Center to Key West for display as part of a 9/11 memorial sculpture — an experience Almeida described as his most memorable event on the job.
Some of Prompt Towing Service’s customers have been with the family-owned company since it opened more than 30 years ago.
What’s the secret to that type of long-term success?
