Keeping your Cat® engines on the road is easier than ever with Cat preventive maintenance products. Your authorized Cat dealer has what you need to take care of basic maintenance yourself.

Preventive maintenance is important, especially for long-time Cat® on-highway truck engine owners. More than 1 million Cat on-highway truck engines are still in service, and Caterpillar is committed to supporting our customers’ maintenance needs.
That support shows up in our maintenance products, which are available through your local authorized Cat dealer or on Parts.Cat.com. These products help you tackle basic maintenance tasks yourself, so you can keep your trucks rolling.
CAT FILTERS AND FLUIDS
Only Cat filters are manufactured to the exacting specifications of your Cat truck engine. We recommend Advanced High Efficiency fuel and oil filters for contamination control.
Cat fluids are designed specifically for your Cat truck engine and components. You'll most often need Cat DEOTM (Diesel Engine Oil,) transmission fluids, Cat ELC (Extended Life Coolant,) and other coolant products.
Your authorized Cat dealer has the filters and fluids you need to keep your Cat on-highway truck engine running strong.
PM KITS
Cat preventive maintenance kits make it easy to order the products you need for your truck engine — just one part number required.
We offer PM kits for use with Cat ELC (Extended Life Coolant) and Cat DEAC (Diesel Engine Antifreeze/Coolant.) Your authorized Cat dealer can help find the right PM kit for your engine
CAT HEAVY-DUTY BATTERIES
When it comes to batteries, consider Cat deep cycle and starting batteries. They're excellent for long hauls, local runs, and any application that requires extensive use of in-cab accessories. These batteries also support four-battery setups for sleepers, reefers, transit buses, RVs and school buses.
Cat starting batteries are designed for over-the-road applications where starts are infrequent and battery cycling is limited. And Cat 4D and 8D batteries for buses, RVs and concrete mixers are maintenance free and feature exclusive flat tops.
