Earlier this year, the American Trucking Associations’ Technology and Maintenance Council along with Decisiv Inc. released a report on truck maintenance and repair costs. What they found was this: In the last quarter of 2021, labor costs jumped 5.4%. And the year-over-year increase was a whopping 14.2%.
Is there anything you can do to avoid these soaring prices? When it comes to your Cat® on-highway truck engine, the answer is a definite “yes.” Cat Extended Service Coverage (ESC) lets you take to the road without worrying about rising and unexpected repair bills — whether you choose Overhaul Protection for Cat Truck Engines (OPT), Precious Metals Kit ESC, Component Plus coverage or ESC Plus for complete Cat Reman truck engines.

Here, you can also calculate the cost for plans specific to your needs. Just keep in mind that OPT coverage and estimates are only available from an authorized Cat overhauling dealer.
