Our Dynamic Gas Blending (DGB) technology offers a methane and gas genset giving you the flexibility to use gas when it’s available and diesel fuel when it’s not. An installed package that offers cost savings of up to $100/eMWh. If you’re looking for prime power that offers cost effectiveness, efficiency and choice, read on!
Allowing up to 70% diesel substitution whilst maintaining high performance and safe operation, DGB technology is also available as a retrofit option and comes equipped with the Caterpillar warranty, and backed by the global Cat dealer network.

3516B Series DGB generator set models and associated DGB retrofit kits are not suitable for use in EPA regulated territories.
3516B with Dynamic Gas Blending
The 3516B DGB generator sets are made to match your continuous and prime applications. Producing reliable power from 1640 to 1825 ekW at 60 Hz, each generator set has been designed to meet ISO 8528-5 transient response requirements and accepts 100 percent rated load in one step. Our 3516B DGB generator sets have been developed for low fuel consumption.
