General Duty

General Duty undercarriage with proven reliability when performing low-to-moderate impact applications. While built to different specifications than Heavy Duty, the Caterpillar designed undercarriage makes the General Duty and Heavy Duty components interchangeable, eliminating any need for retrofitting.  Also, Cat Heavy Duty shoes can be installed on General Duty link assemblies, making them more flexible to meet your needs.

Cat Abrasion

Cat Abrasion undercarriage's track seal and load ring design reduces packing and oil loss in freeze/thaw conditions. This combined with no link assembly maintenance or downtime for bushing turns, you'll experience less cost per hour with Cat Abrasion. This undercarriage selection works well in a range of applications, such as moderate to high abrasion in low to moderate impact applications.

Heavy Duty

In most tough underfoot conditions, Heavy Duty track can extend your undercarriage system life over Cat General Duty, with the greatest benefits realized in aggressive, high-impact applications such as logging, side-sloping work, rocky conditions, or any uneven terrain with wide track shoes.
