SOLAR POWER KEEPS COSTS DOWN AT POULTRY FARM

With its energy bill representing 50 percent of its total operating costs, Buck Creek Farm needed a power source that could offset sharp increases in the price of utility power. By installing a Cat solar power system, Buck Creek receives a combination of tax and utility credits that significantly reduce the farm’s energy costs each year.
