at CONEXPO - CON/AGG
This CONEXPO – CON/AGG, Caterpillar is taking over the Las Vegas strip and we want you to catch all the action. Use this guide to locate Caterpillar on show grounds, preview must-see events and find opportunities to connect with Cat® experts.
LOCATIONS
Caterpillar can be found primarily at Festival Grounds, North Hall and South Hall.
Operator Stadium / Festival Grounds — F4455
What to Expect: The primary Cat location at CONEXPO – CON/AGG will feature:
- Largest collection of Cat equipment
- In-the-dirt demos
- Special events, including Global Operator Challenge Finals
- Cat Financial Lounge
For the first time ever, Caterpillar is building its own arena, Operator Stadium, outside on Festival Grounds. Operator Stadium will feature the majority of Cat equipment on display at the show and will be the site for the Global Operator Challenge Finals, demonstrations, Mike Rowe events and more.
The Cat Financial Lounge is also located at Operator Stadium, giving visitors the chance to enjoy snacks and refreshments while talking business solutions with a Cat Financial expert.
Caterpillar Industrial Engines and Perkins Engines / South Hall 4 — S84331
What to Expect: The latest and greatest in engine technology
This year at CONEXPO – CON/AGG, Cat Industrial Engines will give attendees a sneak peek into the future of Cat engines, in addition to the unique offerings currently available, including at-a-glance engine insights and innovative hybrid technologies. Perkins Engines will showcase their comprehensive range of purpose-built diesel and gas engines. Perkins will also show new solutions, like the new Perkins Ecoplus oil filters, which raise the bar for performance, ease of use and reduced environmental impact.
Caterpillar Foundation / North Hall — N10647
What to Expect: an immersive experience where participation means donations
Together we are stronger. The Caterpillar Foundation will host an experience in the North Hall called The Community Builder, showcasing the issues and decisions facing leaders who are building stronger, more sustainable communities. Visitors will be immersed in one of three locations around the world, where they will decide how best to build resilience in a crisis, exploring themes of community inclusion, workforce readiness, reforestation, water crisis and more. By completing The Community Builder experience, you will trigger a donation by the Foundation to a community-building nonprofit.
Workforce Solutions / Festival Grounds # F9005
What to Expect: Hands-on activities highlighting the skilled trades
Caterpillar is teaming up with the Association of Equipment Manufacturers to recruit talent to the skilled trades with the new Workforce Solutions area at CONEXPO-CON/AGG. The interactive area, located near the entrance to the Festival Grounds of CONEXPO-CON/AGG’s connected campus, will feature 10 booths and a workforce trailer that will be active and available throughout the show for attendees to experience.

TRANSPORTATION
Destinations on the Strip always appear closer than they are. Give your feet a rest and catch a ride between show stops using the methods below. Visit the official CONEXPO transportation page to view the transportation map and learn more.
Free Shuttle Service — Shuttle service is available between the Las Vegas Convention Center, the Festival Grounds and all official show hotels (with exception to hotels located within walking distance of convention center and/or Festival Grounds). Shuttles will operate during peak hours on official show days of March 10-14, 2020.
Monorail — If you have a CONEXPO badge, you can ride the Monorail for free. With three Las Vegas Monorail stops near the show, you will be able to hop on to get to another show location. Watch this video to learn more: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2zJxZwB_8U&feature=youtu.be

Global Operator Challenge Finals & Awards

Only on Day 1 of the show can you catch the first-ever Global Operator Challenge Finals where the world’s best compete in a series of obstacles to see who will be crowned the ultimate champion. Hosted by Mike Rowe.

NASCAR Tech Talk: Technology and the Road to Victory

NASCAR has come a long way from its early days of racing on the beaches of Daytona. Today, technology plays a bigger role than ever in how teams prepare, strategize and evaluate each race they compete in.
