When Sourcewell awarded its competitively solicited contract to Caterpillar, they compared our proposal to multiple criteria that help governmental agencies determine the best value when making purchase decisions. And gave us top marks.
Caterpillar’s response — which included considerations such as pricing, customer service, warranties and more — was scored the highest among 14 equipment manufacturers who submitted responses. In addition to new machine sales, the contract lets Cat® dealers sell parts, service, used equipment and rent machines.
