Safety First

The rules include using sturdy closed toe shoes, safety glasses and earplugs as well as remove wrist watches, jewellery and anything that can get caught in machinery. 

It’s also important to be aware of alarms, emergency exits and the meeting point location. 

When working, you should always ask before using any equipment and there are routines to handle spills and using fatigue mats to work safely. If you need to talk on the phone, find a safe place to talk out of the way of any equipment and avoid doing it while moving around. Balance is extra important while working on heights, therefore make sure you always have at least three point of contacts with a ladder. And remember that smoking is not allowed, not even e-cigarettes.
