Caterpillar Marine Exhibits at the 2021 International WorkBoat Show

Houston, Texas – Caterpillar Marine is proud to showcase innovative industry solutions at the 2021 International WorkBoat Show, a long running marine industry tradition, allowing vessel owners, operators, builders, and suppliers to showcase their latest solutions. The show will occur December 1 – 3 in New Orleans, Louisiana at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Solution experts from Caterpillar will be joined by Louisiana Cat and Resource Power Group, to demonstrate technology leadership and the development of renewable solutions for the workboat industry with hybrid solutions and alternative fuels.

“Let’s grow together! We want to show customers that we can support their emissions and carbon footprint reduction goals, while improving their fleet’s operational performance. Hybrid solutions and alternative fuels are leading approaches that will help the industry progress towards an effective and efficient future. By demonstrating our technology and solutions at WorkBoat, customers can learn more about how Cat® services and Cat Customer Value Agreements (CVAs) can benefit their operations for years to come,” says Caterpillar Marine Managing Director, Derrick York.

Caterpillar offers a wide portfolio of IMO III and Tier 4 engines including emission upgrade solutions providing advanced technology to facilitate marine emission reductions. Whether customers are driven by regulations or a need to modernize, engine upgrade solutions help lower overall fleet modernization costs and get vessels back on the water faster. With Caterpillar Marine engines, not only do customers receive reliable products and support from the global dealer network, but they can also benefit from low total cost of ownership and high uptime delivered through digitally enabled CVAs. These tailored solutions enable operators to effectively meet their operational needs supported by a team of product experts able to efficiently monitor and provide recommendations for success. “We are developing service solutions for our customers based on their needs to optimize their ownership experience and comfortably operate with true peace of mind knowing they are supported by the Cat dealer network,” comments Global Services Manager for Caterpillar Marine, Steven Tibbetts.
