Caterpillar Oil & Gas to Promote Emerging Sustainability Trends at the 2021 Gas Machinery Conference

Caterpillar Oil & Gas to Attend GMC 2021

September 2021

Houston, Texas – Caterpillar Oil & Gas is pleased to participate in the 2021 Gas Machinery Conference to be held October 3 – 6 in Louisville, Kentucky. Of particular interest, Caterpillar Oil & Gas will highlight environmental, social, and governance (ESG) products and solutions relating to the gas compression industry. The company will be joined by premier dealers, Boyd Cat, Warren Cat, Wagner Equipment, Mustang Cat, Foley Equipment and Cleveland Brothers. Product experts will be available at the conference to present on the company’s latest updates relating to the gas compression portfolio including upgrades and retrofit kits.

“Caterpillar is committed to providing the best products and services to support the gas compression industry, and help customers cost-effectively meet their ESG goals,” said Product Strategy and Definition Manager for Caterpillar Oil & Gas, Mark Anderson.

Although the journey towards a sustainable future is different for each customer, Caterpillar Oil & Gas can help with high-performing products and solutions to meet operational targets. Cat® gas compression engines stand up to the most demanding oil and gas transportation applications, and with advanced combustion technology, engines can burn a variety of fuels including natural gas, field gas, coal bed methane, wellhead gas, propane, and low-energy gas.

For customers interested in products that offer zero site emissions, consider Cat electric motors. Not only do these motors require virtually no maintenance, but they also produce less noise, and deliver the same quality and productivity customers expect from gas engines. Caterpillar Oil & Gas experts will be available to discuss gas compression solutions throughout the show and at specific technical courses featuring product experts Michael Coppinger, Ken Hall, and Ralph Warner. “We are actively developing next generation technology for our industry standard G3500J and G3600 A4 products, in support of these initiatives, and we’re looking forward to sharing the first look with customers at the show,” says Michael Coppinger, product definition manager for gas compression, Caterpillar Oil and Gas.
