About Speak up! Listen up! - Safety Communication Training

Safety conversations aren’t always comfortable, but all employees should be empowered to communicate constructively. Speak Up! Listen Up! equips all levels of your organization with the tools and a practical process for delivering and receiving safety-related feedback, so all employees are able to confidently speak up, and listen up, about safety.

Speak Up! Teach employees to confdiently give effective safety-related feedback to co-workers. Each employee can contribute to workplace safety by learning simple, easy-to-use feedback techniques. 

Listen Up!  Receiving feedback is not always easy. It is easy to take the message as criticism or feel defensive. The internal challenges people face when receiving feedback are explained along with how to overcome those challenges. Participants will be able to process and receive messages in a productive way and contribute to the safety culture of the organization.

Once employees are confident to demonstrate effective communication skills, it empowers them to contribute to workplace safety in a simple and positive way. Giving feedback doesn’t happen automatically. Learning the skills to deliver the message so it is well received gives employees confidence to take responsibility for speaking up when they see unsafe behaviors or conditions.
