A Simple, Effective Reminder

If an operator disengages the parking brake without buckling up first, the Cat Seat Belt Reminder triggers an audible alarm in the cab and a continuous light on the buckle. It also records an event in VisionLink®, so you can identify training needs. There’s an option to add an external beacon that alerts site managers, too.

When the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration looked at 50+ rollover accidents, there were zero fatalities only when operators wore seat belts in cabs with rollover protection systems (ROPS). Reminding operators to buckle up can mean the difference between life and death.

Your Cat dealer can install it for you or provide a do-it-yourself kit. You can install it in 12- and 24-Volt DC systems, and it typically takes less than two hours if you use existing seat belt mounting locations.
