HOW CAT DETECT WITH SMART CAMERA HELPS JOBSITE SAFETY
The smart camera system works with three major, easy-to-operate components that your Cat dealer can help you install. Here’s how it all comes together to protect your people and your jobsite:
A rear-facing smart camera serves as another set of eyes behind your equipment, actively identifying people, equipment and other obstacles.
The high-definition touchscreen display shows additional angles around your machine. If a person is detected behind your machine, the operator is alerted on this monitor.
Finally, visual and audio alarms sound with increasing intensity as your machine draws nearer to a person or other object thanks to the system’s intelligent alerts.
Cat Detect with Smart Camera can give you and other operators the confidence needed to work productively and accurately. It helps you save on downtime, repair costs and even reduces the need for spotters on your jobsite. But most importantly, it helps you protect your most valuable assets — the people on your jobsite.
